The objective of the Project is to optimise the process of freight marine and rail transportation by developing electronic services of integrated freight transportation. It is planned to create 5 electronic services for freight rail transportation users and customers.

Rail freight services booking;

  • Monitoring of the freight rail transportation process;
  • Automated preparation of rail freight documents and submission to Service receiver;
  • Automated preparation of rail freight handling documents and submission to Service receiver;
  • Automated declaration preparation and submission to the customs.

  • For the State: having created e-services during the Project implementation, the presumptions to transport freight more efficiently, to be more competitive, and make the supply chain more efficient will be provided to Service receivers and this will provide favourable conditions to increase freight flows.
  • For Service receivers: transport volumes are optimised and increased, the time and human resources by submitting freight documents to various institutions are saved.
  • For LG/ Klaipėda State Seaport Authority: the popularity of services is increased and the use of electronic services is promoted.


Oracle 10g DB is used to store system data, Oracle BPEL is used for integration management, reports are generated using Oracle Reports, the main functional components are created using Java, JSP, JSF, Oracle TopLink, TOMCAT application server and FOP libraries.
