So that to develop the national geographic information infrastructure, the harmonised national geographic data storage and electronic services are required that would allow citizens, enterprises and state institutions to easily receive the latest geographic data from their primary sources. The main objectives of the Lithuanian geographic information infrastructure information system (LGII) were to formulate and methodically ground the long-term Lithuanian geographic information infrastructure creation and development trends and strategy, and create and implement information systems complying with these trends and strategy, adhering to the EU INSPIRE directive.

  • The desired geographic and thematic information available on the user web portal.
  • The system provides not only data but also various electronic services facilitating the use of this data: search for geographic and other related information, data conversion and coordinate transformations, geographic analysis, dataset formation and downloading the desirable format, geographic name indexes and other services.


A large number of partners of the customer and of the installers participated in this Project. Our company performed the full project management and all test works.
