About the company:
Avesco Lithuania is involved in sales, rent and service of new and used Cat construction machines, wide power range of both diesel and gas generators as well as marine and locomotive Cat engines.
Challenges:
- The newly implemented SAP ERP business management system had to comply with the requirements of the Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian legislation;
- The work had to be completed within 3 months.
The solution:
SAP ERP i.SAF module was implemented in the Lithuanian branch, while in Latvia and Estonia the VAT declarations were configured to comply with the requirements of the the local legislation.
Outcome:
- The SAP ERP system fully complies with the requirements set by Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian legislation;
- The i.SAF solution implemented in the Lithuanian branch allows for a fast and efficient submission of the required VAT invoice data (in the form of an XML file) to the local tax authorities;
- The VAT declaration configured for the Latvian branch allows for a fast and efficient submission of the required data (in the form of an XML file) to the local tax authorities;

Feedback
With the help of SAP S/4 HANA we have achieved a higher operational efficiency, reduced the likelihood of errors and now we can manage purchasing, sales, accounting, finance, and monitor warehouse operations in a single system. With the help our solutions implemented by Alna Business our SAP systems in the Baltics are now fully compliant with the local legal requirements and we can conveniently provide accounting data to the controlling authorities.
